The permit will be issued at the selected garage once all the required steps have been completed.
The customer must obtain the actual parking permit at the selected garage. Obtaining a reservation does not guarantee that a parking permit will be issued. Only one reservation and permit will be issued to each driver, per garage.

A New York State Department of Motor Vehicles driver’s license check is performed at the time of the reservation. The system makes reservations to customers on a first-come, first-served basis up to the available supply of parking spaces at each garage. Please note: All reservations made are for the following month. The website is available five (5) days before the beginning of the following month. The Parking Reservation system (PRS) provides the public fair access to reserve parking spaces at municipal garages in New York City. Parking after posted hours may result in a summons and leaves the vehicle at risk as there is no security at the closed facilities. The fields close as shown in the posted regulations for each facility. Municipal parking fields do not allow overnight parking.
